An inexpensive and simple food, Pizza is definitely the reason why Pizza parlours make so much money selling these slices of heaven. Although, Pizza is a meal you can create at home, and you do not have to buy and keep Pizza bases for when you get that craving.

If you surf the world wide web it’s easy to locate recipes and methods for creating all types of Pizza dough. Examples are; half wheat pizza dough, thin pizza dough, herby pizza dough, and the popular crispy pizza dough. Think of a dough crust, and someone probably makes it. Unfortunately most of those Pizza Dough Recipes need you to spend anywhere up to twenty-four hours to prepare. In my mind Pizza is only a convenience food if its fresh and quick, and in this case an easy diet Pizza recipe. Forward planning shouldn’t be a part of the experience. Kneading for ages and waiting patiently for it to ferment, no thanks! Thankfully I have a better way and best of all its an easy diet method.

When I get the craving for a Pizza, I can’t wait, but it’s got to be fresh, quick, low fat, low cal and high in stomach filling fibre! However, if dough mixture needs time to rise, how can it be made quickly? Well guess what, my recipe is speedy and simple to create in your very own kitchen, and you only need a few ingredients: olive oil, whole wheat flour, water, yeast, salt, and my secret ingredient (read on).

A technique in creating an easy Pizza dough fast, is using rapidly rising yeast. Using this special yeast has the ability to cut your pizza dough prep’ time from up to twenty-four hours to only thirty minutes. In that thirty minutes, you have the time to cut up and select all the toppings you would like on the Pizza, failing that just relax for 30 minutes, “chuckle“.

Step-by-Step Recipe:

1. You need one cup of hot tap water (not boiling). Get a large mixing bowl, pour the hot water in, and then add a teaspoon of salt and a packet of the rapid rising yeast. Mix it all together with a fork.

2. Slowly mix in 2 cups of whole wheat flour, and 1 tablespoon of my secret ingredient – powdered psyllium husk. The husk is tasteless and high in fibre. In the beginning, the mixture will combine quickly. Then the mixture will get too thick to use the fork, that’s when you start using your hands. It can get a little fiddly. If it gets a bit gooey, keep a little extra spare flour on the side.

3. When your kneading the dough it might stick to your hands, to prevent this dust the hands with the spare flour, then resume kneading the dough. Keep repeating the process until it forms a ball and it doesn’t stick. In an ideal world, you need to use as little extra flour as achievable to make this occur.

4. Now cover the outside of the dough ball with a tablespoon of olive oil, it just makes it a bit easier to handle. Get a clean kitchen towel and cover the dough ball, then leave for half an hour.

5. After 30 minutes roll out the dough ball with a rolling pin, roll it out on big baking sheet, or something equivalent like a pizza stone. When finally making this Pizza base it’s better to have the thin and crispy style, to achieve this make sure you roll it out as thin as practically possible. But don’t make it so thin if splits apart.

What make this an easy diet Pizza is the speed, high fibre, and comparatively lower calories. The combination of Psyllium husk and whole wheat flour adds lots of indigestible fibre making it filling and nutritious.

That’s all there is to it! Fast, easy diet Pizza dough that’s delicious.

Always remember one thing that homemade any type of food is hundred times better than the hotel food. The reason behind this is that this food is more fresh, nutritious & always healthy for the body. If you have a habit of eating spicy, delicious & tasty food of hotel, then the homemade food is the right choice.

We can get the various types of pizza recipes from the internet, which consists of the various types of pizzas, & we can add our ideas by preparing these pizzas at home. Therefore, there is no need to spend your time for ordering & buying pizzas from the shops, hotels. Always prefer homemade pizzas, which have a nice smell, delicious taste & it gets more fun to eat.

Normally there various types of pizzas available for making at home. We can make the pizza within 2 hours & 20 minutes normally. The main ingredients of the pizza dough are plain white flour of 180g, one-tablespoon salt, one-tablespoon yeast that is dried, half-tablespoon caster sugar, one-tablespoon olive oil that is very important for baking pizza dough. There should be 120ml of warm water, also polenta for dusting.

After taking the recipe material, the cooking apparatus is also important for making the pizza dough. It consists of two bowls, one spoon, cling film, one rolling pin, and one jug for measurement, one sieve & one rounded tray for baking the pizza dough.

After taking all the cooking material for pizza, the next process is to how to make pizza. There are certain steps for making the pizza dough. Firstly, you have to put a sieve on a bowl & then mix some flour. After that process, you have to smoothly shake that mixture.

Now in the bowl of medium of size, you have to add the salt, yeast & caster sugar into it. You have to create a hole in the centre & then mix olive oil & warm water & mix the whole mixture very well. Now again you have to merge the whole mixture by hand for making an uneven paste.

In the next step, you have to shift the dough into a fat bowl, which should be neat & clean. You have to cover this bowl by using some stick film & then leave that bowl to rise for almost for two hours until size of the dough has been largely double in size.

In the final stage, you have to uncover the bowl & then you have to shake over flour on dough. Now after taking away the bowl put it on the smooth plane. Now shake over some flour on the baked dough & roll that dough roundly. Again, you have to dust with flour & then turn it for rolling the other side.

Now finally you have to add some flour on the base of the baking tray, which should have a round tray. Then move forward the dough over tray & press on it from outer side for rolling. So now delicious baked pizza is ready for eating.

Rich's CountrySide Pizza Saline Michigan 48176 - I will always remember the day I bought my bread machine. I was at a garage sale and found it marked at $30.

Rich’s CountrySide Pizza Saline Michigan 48176 -

I will always remember the day I bought my bread machine. I was at a garage sale and found it marked at $30. After examining it, I insisted on plugging it in to make it work. Once the light sensors came on, I had no idea what to do next. So I paid for it.

I took it home and made five loaves of bread. Four of them fell. I read everything I could find on the Internet about bread machines and made sure to diligently manage the measurements. I finally decreased the falling of my loaves to about two in five – but somehow, those two always fell when I had no other bread in the house and was counting on the loaf to feed us our lunch. Finally, like I suspect so many women do, I left it on the counter as a beautiful appliance. Store-bought bread was just less hassle.

Several months passed, and I came across an article about making your own pizza, my husband’s all-time favorite meal. Quick research revealed that I could actually make the pizza in my bread machine! I happily dumped the products in and we began saving about $60 a month (that is $720/year) by making our own pizza dough.

Pizza dough is very quick and easy to make, and, for me at least, much less likely to fall. If your bread maker has a timer, you can even set it to mix while you are at work. Or, you can make the dough on the weekend and freeze the crust, ready to be cooked as your very own frozen pizza – for significantly less money.

There are a million dough recipes out there, and I encourage you to experiment. We use the most basic recipe. Remember in your bread machine you want to add the wet ingredients first, followed by the dry, with the yeast going in last.

Start with 1 3/8 cup of water and pour it in the bottom of the machine bowl. Add two tablespoons of oil. Next, add two teaspoons of salt. Most recipes call for a teaspoon of sugar, but we decided we did not like the taste so we omitted it. We also add a teaspoon of powdered flax seed to the mix to at least make me feel like we were doing something healthy for dinner. Next, add 3 ½ cups of flour. Then, make a little hole for the yeast and add two teaspoons.

I always check on my dough after about five minutes. Sometimes the whole mixture sloshes; I add a little more flour to firm it up. Sometimes there is flour caked to the side of the machine; I add more water and oil, little by little. Unlike bread, we very rarely have problems with our dough, and the addition of the frozen crust to our repertoire has made my nights even easier. We use regular spaghetti sauce rather than expensive ‘pizza’ sauce and add our own ingredients.

Rich’s CountrySide Pizza Saline Michigan 48176

Lest you wonder about the cost savings, we purchase our yeast (by far the most expensive part) from a warehouse club. We pay less than $4 for what would cost us over $30 when bought in individual packets. We also purchase our cheese and pepperoni (our topping of choice) from the warehouse store. These are the most costly items that are least likely to go on sale.

Our recipe feeds two adults and two toddlers; once our third child started eating and our other two began growing we increased the ingredients a little and used 4 lbs of flour. When the dough finished mixing, we allow our older children to make their own ‘pan’ pizza, which they enjoy. Talk about getting the family involved.

Homemade pizza is a win-win situation. Your children get the taste they love, your husband gets to write smaller checks (and you don’t have to worry about delivery charges or tips), and, most importantly, you get to use your bread machine for more than decoration.

The pizza makes the party" was an often heard phrase in my childhood days, my parents constantly drilling it into me that if I didn't make the most amazing pizza anyone has ever tasted

“The pizza makes the party” was an often heard phrase in my childhood days, my parents constantly drilling it into me that if I didn’t make the most amazing pizza anyone has ever tasted, I may as well have not made one at all. There are 3 Critical areas to making a great tasting pizza, and luckily none of them are “add 5 pounds of solid fat”. Contrary to the popular associations made by pizza companies, pizza does not have to be unhealthy and full of calories to taste good. The first area of importance is the crust, the base of the pizza and the edges. The 2nd most vitally important part is the sauce, the tomato or other flavored paste generally placed between the base and the toppings, and the most important part of a pizza is the toppings, the flavor of the pizza and generally regarded as the most important part of the pizza.

The Crust is often overlooked by many as being an unimportant part of the pizza creation process, and as such is generally picked up from the shop and not worried about. Although this is a viable alternative, making your own crust can both taste delicious and be very rewarding. The hardest part of creating the crust of a pizza is baking it correctly, the biggest problem most people have is it coming out still doughy and inedible. The reason this happens is because common ovens don’t actually get hot enough to correctly bake the crust properly and everything starts to burn before the crust is done. The best way to overcome this problem is to cook the crust first for a few minutes, then add the sauce and ingredients to your pizza and finish cooking the pizza.

Yeast is a vital ingredient in the bread dough and often many forget how fragile it is. It is one of the key ingredients and makes the crust rise and stay nice and light as such make sure the other ingredients are not too hot or cold to kill the yeast. The problem with yeast is that if your ingredients are hotter than room temperature they may kill the yeast, and if they are too cold it won’t work properly.

There are many pizza dough recipe variations and as such I won’t list any here. Some people love to add wheat or sesame seeds to give it a little extra flair and make it their own. Another thing you can do to really spice up your pizza base is add some cheese around the outside and roll over the crust so the cheese is inside the crust. That way when your unsuspecting guests bite into the edge of your delicious pizza they will be hit with a surprise cheese sensation.

The sauce is another critical ingredient for the pizza and often one many take the easy route out of and simply purchase it in a can. Although better sauce can really make a much better tasting pizza. The basics are simply tomato, water and spices although if you like sweeter pizza sauce add some sugar to it. For a little bit of extra kick try some of the following herbs, not only in your sauce, but also on top of your pizza: onion flavoring, salt, pepper, basil, sage, thyme, cumin and some chili powder if you like some spice. To cook them, simply mix them all together and simmer the mixture for about 11 minutes till it blends together. When its done, turn the stove off and move onto the toppings.

The toppings are probably the easiest to explain for everyone loves to make their own combinations of toppings, one variation that many don’t try is adding a layer of cheese, then place your vegetables and meats on, and then add another layer of cheese over the top. This makes for a deliciously cheesy pizza as well as still remaining quite healthy.

It generally takes about 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit to cook the pizza. When the crust turns a golden brown color and the cheese is all melted with some golden bits, the pizza is done and you can enjoy the fruits of your efforts.

Creating a pizza at home is an incredibly easy task, and not only do you save plenty of cash making it yourself, it tastes better than what the pizza boy brings to the door too.
